भागवत गीता श्लोक हिंदी- Bhagwat Geeta Shlok in Sanskrit
यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत:।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम्॥
(चतुर्थ अध्याय, श्लोक 7)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- जब-जब धर्म की हानि और अधर्म की वृद्धि होती है,तब-तब मैं धर्म के पुनरुद्धार के लिए स्वयं अवतार लेता हूं।
English Translation:- Whenever there is a decline in Dharma and increase in unrighteousness, I Create Myself take incarnation for the revival of Dharma
परित्राणाय साधूनाम् विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे-युगे॥
(चतुर्थ अध्याय, श्लोक 8)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-सज्जन पुरुषो के कल्याण के लिए , अधर्मीयो के विनाश और धर्म की स्थापना के लिए में हर युग में जन्म लेता हु ।
English Translation:- I take birth in every age for the welfare of noble people, destruction of unrighteous people and establishment of religion.
यद्यदाचरति श्रेष्ठस्तत्तदेवेतरो जन:।
स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते॥
(तृतीय अध्याय, श्लोक 21)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- श्रेष्ठ व्यक्ति का जैसा आचरण होता है, वह जैसा कार्य करता है, अन्य लोग भी वैसा ही आचरण करते हैं, वैसा ही कार्य करते हैं। श्रेष्ठ व्यक्ति जो भी उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है, पूरा मानव समुदाय उसका अनुसरण करने लगता है।
English Translation:-Whatever conduct the best person has, whatever work he does, other people also behave in the same way, they do the same work. Whatever example the best person sets, the entire human community starts following him.
नैनं छिद्रन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावक: ।
न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुत ॥
(द्वितीय अध्याय, श्लोक 23)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- आत्मा को न ही शास्त्र काट सकती है न ही अग्नि उससे सला सकती है न ही पानी उससे भीगो सकती ही ओर न ही हवा उससे सुखा सकती है ( यहा पर भगवान श्री कृष्ण आत्मा को अमर होने कि बात कही है
English Translation:- Neither the scriptures can cut the soul nor the fire can destroy it nor the water can wet it nor the wind can dry it (Here Lord Shri Krishna has said that the soul should be immortal)
हतो वा प्राप्यसि स्वर्गम्, जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महिम् I
तस्मात् उत्तिष्ठ कौन्तेय युद्धाय कृतनिश्चय:II
(द्वितीय अध्याय, श्लोक 37)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- मारे जाने पर तुम स्वर्ग प्राप्त करोगे, जीतोगे, अन्यथा महिमा का आनंद लोगे।
इसलिए, हे अर्जुन, युद्ध करने का निश्चय करके उठो।
English Translation:-Slain you will attain heaven, conquered or you will enjoy glory.Therefore, O Arjuna, arise, resolved to fight.
श्रद्धावान्ल्लभते ज्ञानं तत्पर: संयतेन्द्रिय:।
ज्ञानं लब्ध्वा परां शान्तिमचिरेणाधिगच्छति॥
(चतुर्थ अध्याय, श्लोक 39)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-जो इसके प्रति समर्पित है और उसने इंद्रियों को वश में कर लिया है, वह विश्वास से ज्ञान प्राप्त करता है।ज्ञान प्राप्त करके वह तुरंत परम शांति को प्राप्त कर लेता है।
English Translation:-He who is devoted to it and has controlled the senses attains knowledge by faith.
Having obtained knowledge he attains at once to supreme peace.
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
(चतुर्थ अध्याय, श्लोक 47)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- तुम्हें केवल कर्म करने का अधिकार है, परिणाम पर कभी नहीं।आपके कार्यों का परिणाम आपका उद्देश्य नहीं होना चाहिए, न ही आपको निष्क्रियता से लगाव होना चाहिए।
English Translation:-You have the right only to do the work, never to the results.The result of your actions should not be your objective, nor should you be attached to inaction.
ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गस्तेषूपजायते।
सङ्गात्संजायते कामः कामात्क्रोधोऽभिजायते॥
(द्वितीय अध्याय, श्लोक 62)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-जब मनुष्य वस्तुओं का ध्यान करता है तो उनमें वस्तुओं के प्रति आसक्ति उत्पन्न हो जाती है।मोह से वासना उत्पन्न होती है, वासना से क्रोध उत्पन्न होता है।
English Translation:-When a man meditates on objects, attachment to them arises.From attachment lust is born; from lust anger is born.
क्रोधाद्भवति संमोह: संमोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रम:।
स्मृतिभ्रंशाद्बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति॥
(द्वितीय अध्याय, श्लोक 63)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-क्रोध से भ्रम उत्पन्न होता है, और भ्रम से स्मृति का भ्रम उत्पन्न होता है।स्मृति के नष्ट होने से बुद्धि का नाश होता है।
English Translation:-From anger comes delusion, and from delusion delusion of memory.By the loss of memory, the loss of intelligence is destroyed.
उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत्।
आत्मैव ह्रात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मन:॥
(षष्ठ अध्याय, श्लोक 5)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-उसे खुद को ऊपर उठाना चाहिए न कि खुद को नीचे गिराना चाहिए।स्वयं ही स्वयं का मित्र है और स्वयं ही स्वयं का शत्रु है
English Translation:-He should lift himself up and not lower himself.The self alone is the friend of the self and the self alone is the enemy of the self.
पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति।
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मन:॥
(नवम अध्याय, श्लोक 26)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-जो मुझे भक्तिपूर्वक पत्र, पुष्प, फल और जल अर्पित करता है।जो संयमी लोग भक्तिपूर्वक अर्पित करते हैं, मैं उसे खाता हूं
English Translation:- He who offers me leaves, flowers, fruits and water with devotion.That which is offered with devotion by the self-controlled I eat it.
यस्मान्नोद्विजते लोको लोकान्नोद्विजते च य: ।
हर्षामर्षभयोद्वेगैर्मुक्तो य: स च मे प्रिय:॥
(द्वादश अध्याय, श्लोक 15)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- जिससे किसी को कष्ट नहीं पहुँचता तथा जो अन्य किसी के द्वारा विचलित नहीं होता, जो सुख-दुख में, भय तथा चिन्ता में समभाव रहता है, वह मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय है।
English Translation:- Those who are not a source of annoyance to anyone and who in turn are not agitated by anyone, who are equal in pleasure and pain, and free from fear and anxiety, such devotees of Mine are very dear to Me.
सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज।
अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुच:॥
(अष्टादश अध्याय, श्लोक 66)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-सभी धर्मों को त्याग दो और केवल मेरी शरण लो।मैं तुम्हें सभी पापों से मुक्त कर दूंगा, शोक मत करो"
English Translation:- Forsake all religions and take refuge in Me alone. I shall liberate you from all sins Do not grieve.
वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय,
नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि।
तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा
न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही॥
(द्वादश अध्याय, श्लोक 22)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-जैसे मनुष्य पुराने वस्त्रों को त्याग कर, नए वस्त्रों को ग्रहण करता है, वैसे ही जीवात्मा पुराने शरीर को त्यागकर दूसरे नए शरीर को प्राप्त होती है।
English Translation:-Just as a human being gives up old clothes and adopts new clothes, similarly the soul gives up old bodies and acquires new bodies.
अज्ञश्चाश्रद्दधानश्च संशयात्मा विनश्यति।
नायं लोकोऽस्ति न परो न सुखं संशयात्मनः॥
(चतुर्थ अध्याय, श्लोक 47)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-अज्ञानी, अविश्वासी और संदेह करने वाले जीव नष्ट हो जाते हैं।संशयात्मा के लिए न तो यह लोक है, न परलोक, न ही सुख है।
English Translation:-The ignorant and the faithless and the doubting soul perish.There is neither this world nor the other nor happiness for the doubting soul.
मयाऽध्यक्षेण प्रकृतिः सूयते सचराचरम्।
हेतुनाऽनेन कौन्तेय जगद्विपरिवर्तते II
(नवम अध्याय, श्लोक 10)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-परिवर्तन ही संसार का नियम है। जिसे तुम मृत्यु समझते हो, वही तो जीवन है। एक क्षण में तुम करोड़ों के स्वामी बन जाते हो, दूसरे ही क्षण में तुम दरिद्र हो जाते हो। मेरा-तेरा, छोटा-बड़ा, अपना-पराया, मन से मिटा दो, फिर सब तुम्हारा है, तुम सबके हो।
English Translation:-Change is the law of the world. What you think of as death, that is the life itself. In one moment you become the owner of crores, in the next moment you become poor. Erase mine and yours, big and small, yours and strangers from your
पार्थ नैवेह नामुत्र विनाशस्तस्य विद्यते।
न हि कल्याणकृत्कश्चिदुर्गतिं तात गच्छति ।।
(षष्ठ अध्याय, श्लोक 40)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-हे पार्थ ! उस पुरुषका न तो इस लोकमें नाश होता है, न ही परलोकमें, क्योंकि हे तात! शुभ अनुष्ठानकारी (जो अच्छे कर्म करते है ) कोई व्यक्ति दुर्गतिको (नरक ) नहीं प्राप्त होते हैं
English Translation:-Hey Parth! That man neither perishes in this world nor in the next world, because O Father! A person who performs auspicious rituals (who does good deeds) does not go to Durgati (hell).
न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचि
न्नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूयः।
अजो नित्यः शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो
न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे।।
(द्वादश अध्याय, श्लोक 20)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-क्यों व्यर्थ चिन्ता करते हो? किससे व्यर्थ डरते हो? कौन तुम्हें मार सकता है? आत्मा न पैदा होती है, न मरती है,
English Translation:- Why do you worry in vain? What are you afraid of in vain? Who can kill you? The soul is neither born nor dies,
यत्किमपि करोषि, तत् ईश्वराय अर्पयसि।
अस्मिन् भवन्तः सर्वदा जीवनात् मुक्ताः भविष्यन्ति।
(षष्ठ अध्याय, श्लोक 46)
हिंदी अनुवाद:-जो कुछ भी तू करता है, उसे भगवान को अर्पण करता चल। इसी में तू सदा जीवन-मुक्त अनुभव करेगा।
English Translation:- Whatever you do, keep offering it to God. In this you will always feel free from life.
तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः ।
वशे हि यस्येन्द्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता।।
(द्वितीय अध्याय, श्लोक 37)
हिंदी अनुवाद:- उसे उन सभी को नियंत्रित करना चाहिए और दृढ़तापूर्वक मेरे प्रति समर्पित होकर बैठना चाहिए। क्योंकि जिसकी इन्द्रियाँ वश में हैं, उसने ज्ञान प्राप्त कर लिया है।
English Translation:-He must control them all and sit firmly in submission to Me. Because the one whose senses are under control has attained knowledge.
